A couple days ago I was cleaning off my desk and found these old glass negatives that I got from my grandparents. I had thought about taking pictures of them, but I hadn't been able to think of a good back light source, then I realized they were just the right size to put on my iPad.
So I set them on it, and it worked quite well:
My mom thinks that my great, great Grandfather, John W. Haley, took these.
